CHAPTER 8 - WILD TURKEYS
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH @ 6:30PM

Next Thursday's tasting will feature four different expressions from one of our favorite producers, Wild Turkey. (And we know we say that often, but it is especially true in this case.) We'll be cracking open a few bottles from their Master's Keep Collection...
- the 2017 "Decades" blend of 10-20 Year Bourbon barrels
- the 2020 "Bottled In Bond" Bourbon aged 17 years
- and this year's "Voyage", a Jamaican Rum Cask-Finished Bourbon
... plus last year's release of the wonderful Russell's Reserve 13 Barrel Proof Bourbon.
As usual, the event will include a welcome cocktail made with a CBC Single Barrel Selection, plus hearty snacks served throughout the evening. Sticking with the Turkey theme, this month’s menu will draw inspiration from a classic Thanksgiving dinner.

For the month of Mayo we are cracking open cinco bourbons with mas años than your typical age statement:
• A 17-Year Batch #1 release from Wild Turkey’s Master’s Keep.
• The 2019 Eagle Rare 17 Year from the inimitable Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
• An Elijah Craig 18 bottling from way back in 2015.
• Perhaps the most aged bottle we’ve ever had, Orphan Barrel’s Rhetoric 25 Year.
• And for our welcome cocktail, a Limited Edition Knob Creek 15 Year.
The accompanying menu for the evening will be Spanish tapas-inspired.

For this month’s whiskey tasting, we are featuring four different expressions from the Old Fitzgerald decanter series. These beauties are all bottled-in-bond wheaters of varying ages from one of our favorite producers, Heaven Hill.
As usual, the event will include a welcome cocktail and hearty snacks served throughout the evening – with this month’s menu drawing inspiration from classic Spring-time ingredients.

CHAPTER 5 - ST. PAPPY

This month’s Rainy Day Tasting is getting bumped from its usual 3rd Thursday to the following day, Friday, 3.17… because St. Pappy’s Day is back!
If you are not familiar with this tradition of ours, we have done a Van Winkle tasting event *almost* every year on March 17th. And while we are very excited to be hosting this tasting again after a 3-year hiatus, we do believe this one will be the last.
The evening’s flight will feature some of the most sought after bourbons in the world:

For this month’s whiskey tasting, we’re highlighting some of our favorite ryes from north of the border. These will include:
Jefferson’s 10-Year, an old favorite that was tragically discontinued almost a decade ago.
Hochstadter’s 16-Year, cask strength beauty that’s perhaps better than even the boldest American ryes.
The Lock Stock & Barrel 16-Year -- a little softer at 107 proof, but just as complex and captivating.
Whistlepig’s 6th Boss Hog release: The Samurai Scientist, featuring an Umeshu-barrel-finish that’s as wonderful as it is unique.
This tasting will also include a welcome cocktail mixed with our Whistlepig 10 Year Single Barrel, and a menu of delicacies similarly inspired by our northern neighbors.
